About Josh
I'm a very proud father of four kids (boy, girl, boy, girl) born in the late 90s and early 2000s. I'm proud to be married to my bride since 2002 and hope to make it eternity! We have loved physical activities like sports and camping to see the amazing geography found in Utah like the slot canyons, mountains, lakes, etc. And frankly, sometimes we just bum around watching movies. I've never felt richer than I do now with my amazing wife and children!
Qualifications
Since 2003 I've been a student of my craft. Besides feeling like a fish in water in the finance world (and frankly a bit geeky about it), I've always subscribed to many trade websites and tools such as Mortgage Coach, Loan Toolbox, Mortgage Market Guide, Certified Scripts for Success, Mortgage Bankers Association, Mortgage Brokers Association, MBS Highway, Keeping Current Matters, Housing Wire, and many others.
I'm also required to complete 10 hours/year of continuing education. These courses include topics such as Utah Lien Rights & State Construction Registry, Mortgage Fraud, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Demystifying Credit, Forgery Fraud In Mortgage Transactions, Utah Law & The NMLS System, Ethics & Fraud Prevention, FHA loans, FNMA & FHLMC Conventional Loans, Reverse Mortgages, 203k and HomeStyle Rehab Loans, Seller Financing, Short Sales, Title Insurance, Understanding 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges, Understanding All Credit Score Models And Reason Codes, Guaranteed Rural Housing Loans for Mortgage Professionals, and many many more.
And last of all—because frankly, who cares? —I've received awards like Million Dollar Club, President’s Club, Top Producers Club, and others so many times we've quit counting.

Brandon graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor’s degree in business management and entered the mortgage industry in 2004. Over the years he’s learned the ins and outs of mortgage with roles as a closer, junior underwriter, processor and loan officer.
Brandon lives in Lehi, UT with his wife and four children. He loves spending time with family, watching his kids play sports and dance, and getting into the mountains and fly fishing.
